 today, 31/7/2023 i'm using tableau prep 2023.1.2 tableau prep supports my won activity honestly, but there is something crutial activity that must be fixed,  GROUP VALUES user can not see where values are groupped if there is more than 1 value to be grouped, here the example: grouping values information about grouping values that is only have information about how much value is groupped, but how can we see where the value is groupped? WE CAN NOT we have to scroll value itself one by one,  imagine we have 1000 values, so we have to scroll it until find group logo besied the value. how hard it is using tableau prep. i hope next update tableau prep can detect where values are groupped thank you

 so, today 18/7/2023 i use brandnew tableau 2023.2, i often use color as distinction for the measurement like  category performance =0% it would fail as 'red', category reach <100% it would be progressing  'yellow' , else cateogry successfull as 'green' calculation field for making color Since my data has no performance reach 100% as successfull, there is only 0% which is fail and doing progression <100%, so the display would be fail and progression which is we could set the color also bar progression with its color so here is the problem, when there is the data reach 100% next day, it would make automatic color successfull which we can not handle it, maybe it would be blue or maybe it would be purple or orange we do not even know so here is my idea: tableau needs something like setting default properties to handle the color at first like success is green, progression is yellow and fail is red, so we as user need not to repair or even change when something...

today,11/7//2023 i use brand new tableau 2023.2 tableau idea: until date extract data when i use a big data, i use extract but yout know sometimes i want to extract apart of data on local tableau desktop because i know that  local can not handle a big big big data tableau extract a big data so this is that tableau needed, which is having a optional to extract a until date , so user could be able to extract apart of data and rest could be extracted on server  thank you

today 10/7/2023, i use tableau prep 2023.1.2 i am new on using tableau prep, but you know there is a something difficult for me to understand how to change order on pivot stage. pivot stage although it is  a drag n drop yet it can not change the order, like above, i put it on pivot not ordered, but i can not to change on pivot stage, so i must put it out from pivot and put it on again on pivot with the true order (2015,2016,2017,2018) or i keep it up and i add clean stages on the next stage thank you

 today 2/7/2023, i use brand new tableau 2023.2 i have issue about tableau date, so i have data transaction, but the date is not complete, the date would be there if there is transaction. so on the tableau would be not complete and we can not flag where is the true (has transaction) and where is the false(there is no transaction) since the data is not complete. example range date i thought there is 2 ways to solve this, by using parameter restructured data source nah, sadly tableau can only make 1 day date, tableau can not make date field coming from paramter so there is date would be full. so, now to solve this i restructured the data source by using recursive programming to generate full date (which i called reference date) and using full outer join to join the source data to reference date. thank you SUPPORT MY IDEA
